Default TT Engine Advice Needed

I'm building my engine in anticipation of a TTix install. I would like the power to be in the 650-700 rwhp range on 93 octane without using meth. I plan on having it tuned to that level and then left alone......no boost controller. Will the stock displacement (forged & AFR's) get me there or should I plan on going with a stroker?

We have the same goals and the same turbo kit.

I opted for AFR 205 heads and a custom reverse split cam.

A stock cube motor will easily get you 650-700 rwhp.

Please hold while I finish tuning...

You don't need big cubes.

Forged bottom end with box stock Dart 225 heads. I hope to know what she will do soon. If I could just get this rain to stop...

If the 6spd drivetrain can be driven daily with 650-700 rwhp and remain healthy, we have the same goals.

I'm leaning to the STS, but I the jury is still out for me.
Look forward to hearing about your engine build.

Good Luck.

Default First Wot Pulls

Well car is NASTY FAT still but HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!

This thing is going to be mean when I get it dialed in. Pulls like a freight train from 3000-7000 rpm.

Once I get it leaned up .. watch out...

Lots of red still...

Yano,

I've driven a s/c car at altitude (Twin Screw GTS) and you could definitely tell the difference... How does a turbo car feel at altitude and does it affect power as much?

i personally think the Turbo is a better power adder at altitude. My old SC setup was pretty fast, but nothing compared to my TTix.

The only time I have to compare is last fall we did a HPDE at PPIR, and I was able to completely lap the entire field on every 15-20 session, and that was with brakes that were dead after just a lap or two. So i had to take it easy.

There is a local guy with giant Vortech SC, a 408, NO2, and huge cam, heads etc etc. and my numbers were higher than his until his last set of mods.
