What I need to know is should I run strait alcohol or should I cut it with water ? And if I cut it with water should it be half and half?
Need some input
Although I do NOT have hands on experience with cutting Alky w/water, I have always seen the Tuners on this board reccomend 100% meth when using the system. This question has been brought up a few times and its always been the same answer from them.. 100% no mixing. That is, if you want the best results. I'm sure you "Could" cut it if you wanted.

I hope I am not highjacking this thread byasking this since it is related to the question. If I am, I'm sorry. But which would help keep the carbon deposits cleaned out of the combustion chamber better? 100% Meth, or a mix? Seems like the water would work like a steam cleaner.

I have heard this before and it seems to make sense.
What you run and what you can run are two different things. The older SMC kits required running straight denatured alcohol and the addition of a lubricant. The newer ones can run methanol. If you ran mix on an older SMC kit, you'd destroy the pump.
You need to contact the MFG of your kit and see what form of alcohol can be used, if not damage to pump/system can happen. Then make decisions on goals..
As far as carbon... you wont find any in an application running methanol. Those that have taken motors apart will attest to this.

That's what I was going to mention... actually ran into that once since I never bothered to ask. Switched from denatured alky to meth/water mix and fragged a pump.
