Well it just came into day everything but the hood . Everything looks really good just waiting on my clutch and 90mm TB they should be here soon. Here are some pics http://68.35.5.162/kb.htm
The install will be done by Scotty's Southwest Corvettes INC. Here in Albuquerque,NM
Make sure you unbolt and remove the blower from the manifold. Because the inet to the I/C and bottom of the blower have tape on the inside. You can not see it unless you disassemble it.
If you dont do this, you WILL suck up masking tape into your motor.
By LUCK we removed the S/C and saw the tape. If we didnt, we would have NEVER caught it.
I just got my car back hood looks really good I have new links to some pics of the hood on the car. I will take the car for install next monday. the only bad thing is when I got the car back it now says "Service Column Lock" thanks GM for making stuff like that **** you off. here is a link to just the hood pics http://68.35.5.162/hood.htm
Nice! Hood looks much better than anything ive seen for the Magna. Are you running on the stock short block? Hope to see your car on the streets sometime.
Im surprised that KB dont tell you about the tape................
Oh, but we do tell you about the tape. It's in our manual along with every single other smallest detail regarding the installation of our kit. When they put American_hp's kit on, it was one of the very first kits and the instructions were not available at the time.
Believe me, every possible detail is covered in our instructions. Every kit gets a set

I read the manual (it should be called a book by the way its a really good manual everthing is in there.) So now about my car I took it for install this monday. IM going to go over there in a hour to take pics and see how its going. The only thing im waiting on is the 90mm from LG and Nick Williams.
Ken,
Thanks for your post. Any chance KB is looking at offering an "MCM-type" heat extraction hood as an option to your hi-rise?
Love the SC, but just don't care for the hood.
Thanks, Gordon
Hey Gordon.
Your welcome. We have explored other hood manufacturers. Currently however the only offering is the RK Sport hood. We have worked very closely with RK to insure a hood with superior quality and they have been very receptive and cooperative so far.
We will be interested in all our customer's feedback about the hood quality. It is an important component of our kit. We will settle for nothing less than perfect, just like the rest of the parts in our kits!

Hey Ken... I'll be seeing you guys this thursday.
As you mentioned earlier, your right, I didnt have the manual ( Actually its a novel ) so I wasnt sure if that was something that had been mentioned in there. We were just shocked when we noticed it, so I didnt want him to chance it.
The attention to detail and commitment to a 100% perfect kit that Kenne Bell puts into their system is second to none.
Like when you, Jim, and I were on conference call that one day and I brought up concerns with the hood. Jims response was "If I think for 1 second that the hood isnt 100% right, I will immediatly scrap the entire mold." That just goes to show your guys commitment.

Ken,
Glad to have you here!
Any chance you can put some more pics which show all details of the installed system?
Would it be possible to download the manual or make some of the images in the manual available for download?
I am eagerly awaiting dyno results and impressions on LS1 cars which are daily drivers.
