Default FFHP Single Turbo Kit!! Cliff notes version

Since the other thread got so long i figured i would sum it up in a new thread.

Well the long awaited time has come. Now it is time to see if you guys are wanting this kit to happen. So far we are going to have 2 versions of the kit. There will be a street kit for stock/forged 347-370 that will include the following:

**14 gauge mild steel coated Tubular headers
**14 gauge mild steel coated Crossover/y pipe with twin wategate mounts
**14 gauge mild steel coated 3 inch down pipe to twin 2.5 or 3 inch exits
**All hot side connections are V band clamped
**Waste gate Dump Pipes (NOT RECIRCULATED)
**Precision T76 gts turbo Coated hot side
**Tial 50mm BOV w/your choice of color and spring
**Twin Tial 38mm Wastegates w/ your choice of color and spring
**Custom intercooler w/ 3 inch in and out
**All the need 4 ply silicone couplers
**All the needed T bolt clamps for charge pipes
**Aluminum intercooler pipes
**High amp alternator
**Alternator relocation bracket
**New accessory belt
**Turbo Blanket
**Header wrap, heat sleeves, stater wrap and heat tape that is needed
**All needed oil feed and return lines with restrictors
**EBCM reloctaion bracket and lines
**K&N air filter
**Intake Pipe
**MSD custom fit plug wires
**All other need bolts, hardware and brackets
**GM 3 bar map sensor and repair harness

This Kit is going to start of the with a price tag of $5700 plus shipping. The normal price once the sale is over will be $6100 plus shipping.

Hot parts will come with a 5 year warranty on Manufacturing defects.

The next kit will be the race kit. This is the one that is on Dave Dillon's car (aka FastCashDave). This kit will have most of the stuff from above but some things will differ:

**14 gauge mild steel coated Tubular headers
**14 gauge mild steel coated Crossover/y pipe with twin wategate mounts
**14 gauge mild steel coated 3 1/2 inch down pipe to twin 2.5 or 3 inch exits
**All hot side connections are V band clamped
**Waste gate Dump Pipes (NOT RECIRCULATED)
**Precision PT88 turbo Coated hot side
**Tial 50mm BOV w/your choice of color and spring
**Twin Tial 44mm Wastegates w/ your choice of color and spring
**Custom intercooler w/ 3 inch in and out
**All the need 4 ply silicone couplers
**All the needed T bolt clamps for charge pipes
**Aluminum intercooler pipes
**High amp alternator
**Alternator relocation bracket
**New accessory belt
**Turbo Blanket
**Header wrap, heat sleeves, stater wrap and heat tape that is needed
**All needed oil feed and return lines with restrictors
**EBCM reloctaion bracket and lines
**K&N air filter
**Intake Pipe
**MSD custom fit plug wires
**All other need bolts, hardware and brackets
**GM 3 bar map sensor and repair harness
**Aftermarket fans (One 16in 3980 cfm fan and a 9in 2200 cfm fan)

This kit will be $7100 FOr the sale price and regular price will be $7400. On 10.4 PSI this kit made 705 RWHP and 905 RWTQ and ran a 6.37 @112.3 in the 1/8 mile.

In order for this kit to become available we need to sell at least 10 full kits. The lead time will be 6-8 weeks on the hot parts. If we get 10 orders we will then order our 50 sets of hot parts. i was told 3-4 weeks on those but we all know how that goes. Everything else will ship within a matter of days that way you dont feel like you have nothing to show for your money.

The first 10 people to order will get a complimentary set of stock 6.0 liter heads.

I am sure that there will be alot of questions. If you have questions you can pm, email, or call.

A heat extractor hood will be needed on this setup. The hood will lower the temps 200 degrees.

We are going to be selling some of the headers by themselves. Not sure how many yet but they will be $750 shipped to the 48 states and will include the v band clamps and the two extra flanges. At this time will not be selling the crossover/y pipe for them but may at a later date.

The install of this kit can be done in your garage or it can be installed by us or one of our distributors once it gets going.

We are going to take a deposit of 70% at first and once you get all the parts minus the hot parts we will ask for the remainder to cover the hot parts. that is the best way we can see it working without people getting nervous about where their money is going.

No ones card will be charge until we get 10 confirmed orders, once we have 10 confirmed orders, we will contact those people to make sure they still want in and it is ok to move forward with the charge for deposit. We will then place our orders with the header manufacturer, and for the needed turbos and such. We will ship the kits in partial shipments so that everyone will have parts in hand for the money they spend.

Thanks

That's because it's easier to profess to be a millionaire CEO than to admit that you're not Rockefeller and are modding on a budget.

JMO, If you don't get the 10 total, you should re-run this special after you get one of the kits on a stock cubed car. I think that putting the kit on the market before any customers have one on their car is a mistake. The race kit did awesome on a 408 ci, but I don't think many will step up until they see the 76 GTS kit running/performing.

Not meant as a slam at all, just basing MHO on previous vendors kits that didn't quite pan out.

I understand what you guy are saying, but here is the rub, the first guy to get the kit wanted a max effort setup,so that is what we did.
if results on a stock cube setup are needed for others to set up,then I need 1 guy to bring me his Vette so we can do the install. I'll do the install free, all that will need to be paid for it the kit, tuning, etc. that way it won't cost a DIYer any more than it normally would and we can get some stock cube numbers.

Part of the problem getting people to order a kit is the companies that in the past have promised the same thing you are.

This is no way a reflection of your company but there have been a few over the years wanting to get orders ahead of time before ordering parts.

Not one of them so far has turned out to be a good experience.

I can understand you not wanting to move forward until there are people signed on but your fighting a very spotty history with other FI tuners out there.

As someone who waited 7 months for my Grotyohan Headers and nearly a year overdue for my Incon kit, watched the whole QMP nightmare, and you can read others current troubles over at Ls1Tech, the LONG wait for KB, etc. I would be very gunshy about putting money up front and have to wait for a production run.

Nothing to do with you guys at all, but anyone who has been around for a while might be a little wary.

Until something is proven as far as deliverables it will be an uphill battle all the way regardless of your companies own merits and honesty.

I fully understand where you are coming from and I am aware of all the fiascos in recent history, before we started FFHP I took a hit when a company building my engine went belly up,so I really do understand(it was LONG ago,so not the place you may first think of)
Some of the delivery issues some of the others have is they attempt to make headers in house by hand(so I have been told); we are looking to do mass production of the headers, as the other parts are mostly off the shelf items and not a big issue as far as delivery.
Kind of a Catch 22, we don't want to order 50 sets of headers without some level of comfort they will sell, folks may not want to order an item that is not on the shelf, so to speak.
Let me give this some thought, maybe I can come up with a more "comfortable" plan of some sort.
I appreciate the comments, I am always open to feedback.

I really hope that this kit will become available! I would place an order to switch from a P1SC to Turbo but unforunatly my budget doesn't allow me until somewhere around next spring (10 month) Unexpected issues happens sometimes and delay everything. ($20 K in mods this year for my car (taxes, customs and shipping kill us over here in France) + a crashed car)
Good luck and do your best to bring this kit on the market! As soon as my pocket gets fuller I will be your customer for a shortblock and a Turbo kit

IMO, Turbo systems will have issues supporting bigger not the other way around, you don't run into sizing or physical limitations going that direction. This is a front mount, so it will have no to alot less lag relative to other systems and can be set up to come into boost exactly how you want it. And... this being a single doesn't give it more lag. Not on an LSx, anyways..

We know the max effort setup performs on the track. However, it would still be great to see what the hp/tq curves look like when they get posted. I'd love to see what they are at various boost levels as well.

For stock cubes, wouldn't this be pretty damn similar to a another front-mount on a T76? From one motor to another there will be slight changes, especially when considering cam/head/compression/etc.. but, the power, it's delivery should be enough of an idea.
