crankcase evacuation
Does anyone make a crankcase evac. kit that will work on a C5? I have a PTK kit on the car and I am presently using a small filter on the valve cover. I have a feeling that this is not going to work for very long. Under boost the filter gets saturated pretty quick.
Any ideas?

Talk to Nick Yoskin... He has a slick catch can set up.

Try the RoadRebel/ECS/TTi breather. If it works as planned, it shouldn't saturate and should return any oil it catches to the valve cover.

I always wondered if that approach would work well. I was concerned about two things:
clogging up the cats with oily vapor, and possible backpressure in the exhaust leading to exhaust gasses wanting to go back into the crankcase.
How did you work around these two issues?

If you want to just relocate the breather(s), just give it a -8 minimum at ea. cover.

I have one on my na stroker and it works well. I don't know if they have worked out the issue of finding a place to physically mount it in centifigul sc cars. Give 'em a call and tell them Mr. Lucky sent you (they'll only charge you double
).

I read about A&A's ecav pump, but I don't think the location issue is resolved with power adder applications. Why not try a passive system. Run a zero crack pressure check valve in place of the pcv and a check valve at the valve cover breather (lets air out of the system, but not in). That way you can run the crankcase under vacuum without a pump.
