Default Need Help

For you FI Guru's : Okay did the search thing and have read alot in the past week, but still unsure of how to proceed.

The Problem - Overheating 240+ in 90 Degree weather. Hints If I remove the radiator (cooling Tank) cap and idle the car it will come up in temp and start throwing water from the cooling tank !
1. Is this a blown head gasket or something else ?
2. What is the next step in troubleshooting the issue ?
3. Would a cylinder leak test tell me anything ?
4. What should I look for ???

Engine - SLP 402 Short Block, Maggie on 6 rib system with ECS 8" crank pulley. Have Dewitt radiator just replaced water pump, new thermostat (Hyperstat 160 degree). TPIS Headers, Breathless Performance Vortex Air Intake, Breathless MAF ends with air foil, relocated/recalibrated MAT sensor, CAGS Eliminator, Thermo Tec Heat Barrier, Corsa TigerShark Exhaust, MagnaFlow X-pipe, Hurst Shifter, MSD wires, throttle body bypass, Dewitt Radiator, Drilled / Slotted Braer Rotors, Hawke HP+ Brake Pads, 335/30 18 GoodYear F1 rear tires, Vettesnmore "BackBone" Ceramic coated Stainless Steel Chassis Stiffener, Cam Specs - 234/236 lsa 115+1 .598/.602 Precision Porting and Coatings Stage III Heads, , EX-616 Springs with EX-122 Titanium retainers, Yella 1.7 Roller Rockers

Since you just replaced the water pump. Have you "Verified" that the fans are turning on?

Yes the fans are both operating, don't know how to determine if they are low or Hi speed though. Checked all the "Normal" issues, the new pump is working, burped all the air via the "throttle body bypass" etc. My biggest concern is that if I run the engine with the coolant tank cap off it is fine until operating temp gets to about 215 degrees and then starts boiling water like mad, 2 gallons of coolant out in about 3 minutes... Oh and I have a 70/30 mix water and dexcool and added 1 bottle of water wetter for good measure...

Could be a head gasket....When you pop one, you will pressurize the coolant system and overheat.....
