I have a 99 a4 with p1sc and various other mods. I was thinking of removing the high flow cats and going with the new bbk manifold (ls1 still on). would these mods give a worth while rwhp increase? lets say 20 + or should I expect allot less around 5-8rwhp? just curious what to expect. Thanks
I removed my random cats just because I like a little meaner sound and rumble at idel, but for power you will not see any real gain, at least not noticable. If you want more power go to a smaller pulley or add meth inj or both.
I wouldn't do the BBK setup. Removing the cats will definitely help. I remember driving home from my tuners after mine were removed and I couldn't beleive how hard the car pulled. 11.5 lbs of boost on a cool night.
When I was talking to my tuner he told me he could play with the boost(7psi) but then the car become less reliable. So should I bother with bolt on's or just be a man and go BIGGER boost?or all of the above?
I think it's stupid to spend all that money on a power adder and then when you want to make more power look at boltons instead of a boost increase. If your tuner can't make it reliable then take it to someone who can. Just my opinion.

I think your right. I just sent him a e-mail telling him I want more boost(9-11)If he say no off I go....to someone else
