Ok that is impressive but I just think videos like that are funny.

"2000HP and this car will run 7's in the quarter, but we have it only set on 1000HP because it is too much on these streets"

Ok.. so is it 1000HP or 2000HP? And the car spins the tires as long as you hold the gas down... it is not going to run 7's spinning the tires, that is for sure.

It is neat, but these videos are funny. If I came up next to him on the street with his 1000HP and spinning like that .. well I think we all know what would happen. I have said this before.. the power doesn't matter, it is putting to the ground that does.

Cool...but spinning the tires gets old quick. Blown after a while, your attention tends to turn towards putting it down.

ever think that when he changes to his slicks it would hold. my car at 800 burns them like that too , then i had my friends slick on and it held enough for me to damage the drivetrain.

YES.. I have no doubt that it WOULD HOLD.

But he said "we are driving this street car that will run 7's and has 2000 HP"

Well he has it "dialed back to 1000" and has to run slicks to get it to hook.. and I am sure he doesn't have a 7 second time slip. As you know... just because something makes X HP, does not mean it will run X time.

It would be like me saying, my car makes 800 HP and would run in the 9's. Neither have been proven true and I would have to swap to my Drag Pack as well.

good point,

but Nelson does make some killer power plants. Boyd Coddington uses Nelson a lot on his builds

I certainly said nothing bad against the engine or their work.. that thing is badass. I was just laughing at his commentary. The engine and the work they do speak for itself, that thing is UNREAL.
