With a 4.00 pulley I was seeing around 9 psi and running 132 in quarter killing the tires in 1st and second-still running 102 in the eight mile. With a 3.85 I see 10 on really cool day. P1SC-1 isn't even maxed out yet-you can get a 3.10 pulley which will give you 65000rpm at 6600.

Tsab. What is the rest of your combo? I am guessing good ported heads and a nice cam. That is a lot of power for 8.5psi on the stock bottom end. Are you spraying alky?

On 5psi with the restrictor plate in, my car ran 102+ in the 1/8 and 130 in the quarter with a crappy 60ft. But with only 12* of total timing. I want to pull the plate out so bad and let her run. I think the P1 can be plenty fast. But some day I would like to up grade to the D1.

I still have a P1 on mine with a 3.85 pulley making about 10 lbs of boost....[see sig] I will be putting a 3.40 on this fall, will see what happens....If i can make 700 rwhp with the P1, i may stay with it...

DBvette. You are the one I refered to in my earlier post. I over inflated your numbers though. Sorry.

Ported heads and a Blower Cam. Headers, no Cats through TI exhaust. From what I'm being told, I'm about at the limit with pump gas. Bottom end is stock pistons & rods with ARP bolts and Clevite bearings.

Don't feel badly, either a lot of people over inflate their numbers or their dyno operators do it for them (or they are using stick on the windshield 'dynos').
