Default pump upgrade

Guys
I guess I'm going to have to upgrade the stock pump to provide a little piece of mind for my H/C engine with N2O. What is a good choice to support 550rwhp? (150hp N2O)

The main fuel pump, located on the driver side, right in front of the rear tire

Lingenfelter and the racetronix set ups work well. Kenne Bell BAP is also often added.

The racetronix set up should do it. I belive it is a Walbro 255 pump, will provide enough fuel. If you have a dry shot, you may want to think about upgrading the injectors soon.

I've run a Racetronix pump for the last three years.

Depends on the year of car, 01-02Z's should handle the shot fuel wise, 03-04Z's need some sort of pump or boost-a-pump, like the MSD. Beware of the 150hp shot on a stock bottom end, even if pulling timing

Thanks for the replies guys, I have the Racetronic setup on the way; It should be here Thursday, will try to get it in over the weekend. Going to get it dyno tuned the 11th.

I usually keep the 125hp pills in it for the street, but want it safe (and tuned) for any track time. Although I have no intention of pushing my luck, some of the F body guys on the LS1 tech site claim to be running 175-200 shots on their H/C cars with stock botom ends!
