funny u ask!
i recently bought snap on lazer thermal gun and when boosten the car hard i saw temps in the high 6XX. that was on the side of the exhaust housing, side facing the compressor side.

Thanks for the info. That is a bit less than I thought.
What type of oil return lines are most you you guys running. Do you you have a hard pipe that connects to a rubber fire resistant hose... If so, how far does the hard pipe extend away from the center section of the turbo?
Just trying to make sure I don't have melting hoses....

Those temps are also close to what Jersey Jay was telling me he was seeing on EGTs when he was looking at them.
On the X kit there's a hard pipe that extends out a couple of inches and connects to fire resistant/rubber hose, it's only a couple inches away from the turbine. Send a pic of what you're doing, I'm sure it's fine.
