Some of you may remember my post of my dyno sheet a couple months ago. It was running so lean, I decided to add a meth kit. I got to tell you, installation could not have been easier (with a little help from ECS and this forum). Took me two nights working 2-3 hours per night; taking my time.
Here is my dyno sheet. The first 3 runs are from a couple months ago with no methanol. The last three are today. I played with the settings a bit today on the three runs. It still needs a tune, but I am very pleased and feel much safer.
Thanks goes out to ECS, Julio and those on this forum that gave suggestions!
Great numbers for a non heads/cam car!! I'm having The Vette Doctors install an alky kit for me in a couple of weeks. Of course he told me that I won't get any additional power out of it it is just for safety.
No luck yesterday. My first run on meth was 11.28 @ 127. Tower control tracked me down and told me to stay above 11.5 since I dont have a cage. I think they were a little more strict since there were some NHRA officials there.
I did hit 100mph in the 1/8th for the first time! I could also feel the difference. It definately pulled harder.
Now comes the big question..... cage or no cage.....
