Brey Krause makes lap belt mounting hardware to allow you to leave your current seatbels and also use a 6 point harness.

It is easy to install.

Those brackets are the bomb!

Add some G-Force 5 point Harnesses from Summit, a wolfe sub belt bar and 4 removeable clips and you are good...

they are good qualit, easy to install, and the proper way to wear a belt is forced with the bracket. Too many people install harnesses incorrectly and do more harm than good.

Here's mine, and I didn't use the above kit. Just mounted them to existing seatbelt bolts like the directions stated? Made my own mount for the crotch strap, and the Wolfe has the tabs on the bar for the shoulder belts. Passes tech at the strip.

Do you have any pictures or links to view the Wolf 6 point cage?

Peterpan,

Most of us with sport seats run the RJS camlocks and retain the stock seat belt. I get the rollbar wrap mount version that wraps the crossbar and we pull the 2 shoulder straps thru the hole in the middle of the seat. The lap belts anchor to the stock belt bolts and toss behind the seat when not in use. We do punch a hole in the floor thru the support to bolt in the crotch strap that tucks under the seat when not in use.
Infact, the 5 point will totally tuck away and you wont know its there.

Phil,

This sounds like what I really want to do retain the stock seat belt. Do those brackets work so I can keep the stock seat belt with the RJS camlocks?

No need to buy those brackets. Just buy the RJS bar wrap and your good to go all the others have a bracket attached that will mound with the stock belt bolts . I suggest the top "Y" version as it only needs a single bar mount and Ys into 2. It easier and doesnt get tangled as much

Steve, I don't recall any posts of you tracking your car. Did the curiousity of what 742rwhp will do at the 1320 finally get to you ? Are you thinking about drivetrain upgrades as well, or how about CCW "Drag Pack". That rollcage really makes the statement that you are Goin For It!!

Yup, I have been keep a low profile and need the cage as I am getting the itch now that I am used to driving around with this much power and the wife wants this safety equipment as I have scared the hell out of her on a couple of Hill country runs, yes saving up for the drivetrain upgrades and will keep the MN6, if you see what those boys are doing in Canada with this setup it puts I am really thinking of the Autocross or faster type of events, like what Joel runs in his Vortec setup, going 180+ is got to be fun and then you get to go fast for more than a few seconds at a time

look around for them by google. I forget who has them for the cheaper price. If I remember correctly some people have the lap mounts cheaper and others have the fire mount cheaper. I found a vendor where the combination with shipping was reasonable.

Is your sub-belt mounted in front or behind you?

Also I see your top belts go around your seat not through it. I believe many HPDEs will not allow this set-up anymore. They are requiring that the belt goes through the seat from the top (so that it helps stop it from falling off your shoulders) and also that the belts are at the proper angle from the roll-bar over the shoulder (so that you dont crush your spine).

I also encourage all to get the HANS device. I know it is expensive and 1/4 mile guys rarely have a problem, but you never know when the HANS will help you.
