I'm in the process of going from a SC to a TT kit in the near future and I'm trying to make my mind up.
Instead, I think you, Bobby, myself, and that Nasty Blue NA car, need to meet up and have a KYCorvettes roll bar installing PARTY. We could have a live band or a DJ, open bar, and disco ball, you know the works. Bwahahaha.
I told bobby in his thread that I'm going to have to step it up next year to have a chance against you guys.
In all seriousness, good luck in whatever you decide.
I do love the way this setup looks! Anybody install it with the engine in the car? Just curious how bad/good it is.
Hahaha, click on the "My Corvette Photos" link underneath my name to the left for a look at my poor-man's lift at the time I did that first install without moving the motor at all. The second time around I did drop the motor and I'm glad I did -- overall the install was "tighter" and more refined, IMHO.
Also, JMHO but I think that this is the trade-off between hard pipes and flexible tubing -- hard pipes are more difficult to install and get lined up right, but they are extremely durable and will take anything you can throw at em... flexible tubing requires little work in getting it lined up but will not take as much abuse.
