Default Question on PTS kit

So I'm installing my PTS kit, and I go to install the forward O2 sensors. Well, the passenger side downpipe has NO bung for an O2 sensor. The crappy video they send of the installation shows an O2 bung on the downpipe they installed (in the video). WTF??? Did they forget to install the O2 bung on mine? Or is this the way it's supposed to be now? I am cat-less, so I can extend the wires and install the forward sensor in the aft position. Any inputs? How did your passenger side downpipe come?

Thanks,
Derrick

Sorry I can't help you with your question, as they are still building my kit.

However, I do have a question. Do the downpipes come with 2 O2 bungs, each, for a total of 4? I need the 2 where the downpipes connect to the mid-pipes, and 2 more for the Widebands.

The drivers side has two. But I think the top one (near the turbo) is for whatever you want (i.e. thermocouple). The lower is in the stock location for the O2 sensor. According to the video, the passenger side just has the one (near the stock location). Unfortunately, mine doesn't. So, it's pretty much supposed to be like stock, except they give an extra on the drivers side.

I hope they keep good on their current guarantee for you and send out your kit within 4 weeks. My time line was a BIT more than 4 weeks. Ordered the kit 1/18/06. Got the first pieces in late July. Second batch of pieces about 1 month later. And my turbos and meth kit are on the UPS truck to be delivered today.

Good Luck to you.

Awesome. Thanks for the help.

I too hope that they make good on their 4 week turnaround time (plus 4-5 weeks additional for coating). So far, I have no reason to doubt them, and Dalton has be very pleasant to work with. We'll see.

Sorry to hear dude.. There should definitely be be a bung on the downpipe. If I were you though and even if you need narrow band 02's (which I don't), just use the two up top and convert the signal to feed the PCM for the narrow bands too.
