Not only did you just open a can of worms, you kicked it over and spilled it all over the place.

You will get so many answeres to this question and the truth is that there are only a few kits that can fit the turbos needed for four digit horse power.
If i were in your situation with the 10k burning a hole in my pocket i would go with either the HP Kit, or The PTS/PTK system leaning more towards the PTS/PTK kit becasue of the design.

for 1000+ rwhp, your only choices are the HP kit & PTS/PTK kit

After driving cars with 700-800+rwhp, I have to ask the question, "Do you REALLY want and WHAT will you do with 1000rwhp in a C5 chassis?" If you really need it, the next question should be, how many SPARE clutches, trans and rear-ends can I collect/store to keep my car on the road/track? There are no proven C5 driveline solutions for this kind of power. If you actually use the power, you'll be changing driveline parts out as frequently as most people change their ash trays.

vince i dont doubt that its possible but bottom line is that a larger turbo will make more power then a smaller one. that is assuming that the trims and ect.. are the same.

w/o out doubt the ttix kit will make enough power to blow stuff apart but if someones goal are specific then the PTS or HP is the way to go

I currently own a 700+rwhp vette and enjoy driving it and racing it. I do have some competition around(1000hp+street cars viper, vette, supra) that need to be put into there place!

I just love the cars and what they are capable of!!!

The guy is asking for opinion which proving turbo kit capable of making 1000hp. He did not asks for opinion on 700-800hp that breaking driveline. Obviously the TTX can't deliever the 4 digit hp that is why 700-800hp is always the claimed best of all turbo kit. The X kit is seem a fine kit, it just cannot deliver the 1000hp the guy is looking for. TTX producers/makers and cheers leader, NO SALE FOR YOU.

What's a 1000hp... 850 at the rear?

If you want a chance at making 1000 - 1100 useable HP to the rear wheels then PTK or HP.

I never once brought up TTI, that wasn't even in the back of my mind. I simply asked a question...that was it. Maybe he has a line on some driveline solution we are not aware of. It never hurts to ask. I'm not, nor have I everl looked to sell a TTI kit. GEt a clue, get a life...get off the internet AND do something!!!!!!

oh yeah... you never mentioned the x kit but you consistainly referenced the X kit at 700-800hp range. In one way or another you are referring to the your turbo kit any way. I know why you are pissed because NO SALE FOR YOU KID. That means NO commission for you. Sorry kid. Have a nice day, go play with your lovely turbo.

I've got two totally different cars in that same power range...I settled on that number because it the only reasonable number that most drivelines will live at (for both applications), not because it sounds good. I'll tell you what gramps, bring your new rear mount LTX car to Ohio, see if you can use your fingers for more than stroking the key boards. I will have a nice day...life's pretty good.

I'd certainly take advice from an expert in the field of FI. An aborted broken belt S/C run and two years R&D without even a dyno graph for your turbo work????

Just about everyone else posting here either owns one of the three kits or has raced one of them and/or raced a faster setup. That makes you the only odd man out.

So until you can at least Bring it... don't sing it.
