Default Another Textralia GP?

Did I hear a rumor that there was going to be another GP on these or is it just wishful thinking?

We are presently at $979 shipped in the US, if enough people get together I might be able to persuade them to do another one. The last one did work out very well.

Doug, what is included with the Clutch? 18lbs steel wheel? Didnt Textralia provided the new slave cylinder with OZ700 when they first came out? I heard you dont get a new slave cylinder anymore?

What would the GP price be? Google search comes up in the range of $960-990 to buy outright with free shipping. If we can get at GP at 900 or below that would catch my interest

Textralia doesn't not include the slave cylinder anymore. You can add it for $100.00.

We stopped including slaves and pilot bearings in our kits as a standard item. The reason for this was a simple one. Folks were destroying their cranks trying to remove pilot bearing without the proper tools and not following the proper procedure. The fact was the bearing was there, so as long as the y had it, they were determined to swap it. Even if the old one was fine.

The slaves are no longer standard because we were spending hours every day trying to help someone bleed their hydraulics because they didn't follow the proper procedure for bleeding the system.

Its not that we don't offer them. We still offer those items, as an option. We just removed them from the base kit, and made them an option. As a result, we dropped the price of the kit $100.

We're currently working on a few items for the C5's. We have custom built fittings so we can replace the factory line and quick connect and route the supply line where ever you want to. We may supply a slave with custom fittings, custom line, and a remote bleeder if folks are interested in that sort of setup. It would allow you to re-route the lines to keep them away from heat sources, and make bleeding a simple operation.

As for a GP... We're listening....

When is this new stuff coming out?
Also, what flywheel comes standard with the 0Z700? What is recommended for F/I Steel or Aluminum?

You can count me in a GP but I would want the remote bleeder with this. Is your alls bleeder a one way valve type?

I will soon be in need of a new clutch (maybe twin) so I am all about the gp. Don't need the remote bleeder as I already have one in but the rest sounds great as well as a lighter flywheel. BTW, I currently have an unused and balanced Fidenza alum flywheel---would it work with the twin?

I have a 2001 LS1. I am installing a OZ700 single disk with the steel flywheel, will I need to replace the slave cylinder?? Or will I be ok. My car has 16,000.

Would adding extra length to the lines cause any noticable difference in hydraulic action? With my turbos in the car it's sometimes a little hard to reach the quick disconnect with the disconnect tool. If the disconnect were further up the frame rail or near the brake reservoir it would be a lot easier to reach. I would definitely buy a modified cylinder setup next time I do a clutch job if it made servicability easier.
