Default Blitz Boost Controller Users -- Step In

Two questions:

How accurate have you found the boost reading to be? When the controller was reading 10.4psi, my SPA boost gauge was reading 12.4psi -- that's quite a bit of disagreement.

Is your configuration set to actuator mode or wastegate mode? When mine was set to wastegate mode it would shoot to 20psi nearly immediately, even with the gain set to 50 and the boost setting set to 0 (which I thought meant it just opens right away). When I toggled over to actuator mode, I was able to hold around 10.4-11psi and not overboost.

I have the IN port on the solenoid connected to my brake booster boost/vac log and the OUT port connected to a T that goes to both wastegates.

Oh, and any tips on how to mount the display unit in the ash tray area? I removed the ashtray itself but since the display unit is too big to fit in the cavity where the ashtray was, it wants to move around freely, which makes it difficult to adjust.

It looks like if I just grind out some of the cavity I can get the display to stay in place, but before I started grinding I wanted to ask. Who knows, maybe Blitz sells a mount or something that would make this install super clean.

from what i can tell my 2 or 3 gm map logs psi that is very close to my blitz displays.

tony i run fittings of the compressor covers to a T then into the IN
not sure if the brake booster is the best choice.

why mount in the ashtray? i run lc1 thru blitz and its actually very easy to read on pillar.
get egt, ar and fuel psi and run'em all threw blitz. mounted on pillar u can easly jog threw them.......
twins need to me in WG mode ONLY!

Yep, you are right Nick. The IN port is supposed to be between the turbo and the throttle body, not on the intake manifold Thanks, this might be the cause of my issue with the controller.

SBC IDs fit in the ashtray area, it will be angle towards the driver so you can see it. The ashtray door will close fine.
If you purchased the I=color those will not fit.

And, as stated, it must be set to WG. I would also use manual mode at first and set it to zero.

Also they are pretty dead nut. It has a zeroing function when keyed up to adjust for baro (elevation) just like the Stock PCM does.

Also, you still have the bottom ports hooked to the intake vac source right
