Explain n/x
If I put a nx package on my 98 C5 what would be the results, what would be the negatives and does it effect normal driving, Can you just use it at will? Will the car still act like stock until you use the NX

I think you need to do more research on nitrous before you purchase as there is much to know about n2o before you buy. But to answer your question, your car will drive like stock till you use the system.

Once you make your way through that, you need to research what kind of Kit you want, Dry, Wet Nozzle, Wet Plate, Direct Port, Wet NX MAF System, etc...
You need to ensure your running colder plugs (generally TR6 gapped at .035 is a popular choice) and understand the relationship of bottle pressure vs AFR, as well as jetting relationship (for a wet kit).
Bottle Heater, Window Switch is an important part of a kit as well.
If your not up on running hoses and wiring you will likely want it professionally installed and tested.
