DTE axles

It was a fairly straightforward job, somewhat time consuming, but not too difficult.
My car has about 34,000 miles, and I found that one of the thrust washers inside the center section had cracked in half at one point around the perimeter of the washer.
Fortunately, when I bought the axles, I also had DTE ship me new thrust washers, so no time lost.
Also, while I was under the car. I cranked up the preload on the APS turbo actuators a bit.
I plan to retune in the next week or so, shooting for maybe 575-580 rwhp.
I expect torque to be over 600 or so.
Time for some DR's and then back to the strip in the spring!
Should be interesting!!

They were tough to get, since DTE uses their supply to build their rear diff's, but they may have a few sets available for outright sale.
You'd have to give them a call to find out.
I took a couple of pics, but haven't put them up on the internet yet.
If you go to DTE's website, you can see them compared to the stock stub axles.
There is quite a big improvement in overall size/thickness.
