The only motive behind the questions was right in line with what the thread was about ... APS v. TTiX kit.
I feel you have a vested interest in promoting TTI against APS, hence you funny questions.

I don't have any problems with your questions though I thought you could have been more positive about the GTO's power results to date rather than trying to put down lowboosts GTO twin turbo project.

We will indeed and we all need to remember that it takes some time for guys to get their engine combinations and tuning dialed in so we all just need to be patient in the interim.
I still stand by my comment about one has been proven. To be honest this thread has no relevant value until both vendors can prove themselves in different C5 applications. As of now one has been used on a 346ci C5 to a 427ci C5. APS just finished their C5 kit and we are willing to wait for them to prove themselves in several applications.
The thread should be titled can APS C5 kit equal or surpass the TTiX kit?
Let me rephrase that, those with C6's running larger cubes have yet to post numbers ....*coughing* Brabus *coughing*
I've seen the stock C6 and the numbers...are to say the least VERY impressive.
Ok, now I got the stock cam back in. Its decision time.
So far, it looks like both are capable of big power and one has a good rep from repeated users. The other makes great power and is supported online.
Question: Does either kit come with injectors?
Does anyone have photos of the TTI-X install from the top looking down on top of the exhaust flanges? ANY pics would be nice to check out on the intercooler installs too.
Disregard the track times at the end, I am almost in the 6s for the 1/8 now that I go to the drags on sticky tires instead of street tires and 19" wheels

Very cool documentary on the install. Those exh flanges almost look stock. I like it!! I hope my car is that fast when I'm done...
I am not pimping one product, but I am just stating fact when it comes to which has a proven 346ci to 427ci reliable and rwhp rich #'s. NOt too mention track proven as well..
I'm liking alot what I see. Does the turbo setup bolt in to the stock exhaust system?
If I remember correctly yes. I had to get rid of all my old huge NA exhaust and go with a stock size pipe exhaust and an X-pipe. Many have discussed future exhaust upgrades in the realm of bigger piping, but I dont know if anyone has followed through on this.
I have 3" pipes sitting in my garage. I just need to get around to having them welded up right. I will still be using the 2.5" Borla Stingers though, and that will be the new restriction in the exhaust system.
Correct, more bang for your buck in the APS TT system.............a true dual 3 inch 304 stainless steel exhaust system supplied as part of the C5 TT system.
3 inch exhaust goes to APS. I have no clue how much of an advantage that is for the APS system, but most likely it is something in efforts to remove back pressure.
Maybe TTi will address this in the future. The current TTi X guys could upgrade to a 3 inch if they feel the need.
Will it require a 3 inch cat back to completely be useful I do not know. The Borla's are pretty free flowing..
For them to address anything there would need to be a problem.
The TTi Kits do not come with an X Pipe, the cost for these components is less than $350. The intention of the kit is to mate up with the stock exhaust. There is nothing to show that the use of 2.5" exhaust hinders performance. There are a LOT of cars running around with X kits making more than 750 to the wheels with the standard setup Phil and I use.
