Default same here

I also have a SPEC 3 and it seems like at higher speeds and boost it is slipping. Give it more throttle and the rpms go up but not the speed. The other symtom is after the slipping episodes on the next shift the clutch peddle only comes back up half way and you have to pump it a few times and things are ok again. Anyway I have been considering a Textralia, just trying to figure out which one. I think I will need a duel disc since I am in the 650-700 rwhp/torque range. I have heard that is right at the max for their standard models. I even emailed Textralia too see their opinion and heard nothing back.

I have personally installed both a RAM 980 VDS clutch and a Textralia in my 99 C5.

Love both clutches. The pedal feels EXTREMELY light on the Textralia compared to the RAM 980 VDS. Love it, but still getting used to how smooth/easy it is.

If your pedal is only coming up half way. You have more of a hydraulic than a clutch problem. IMO

I used the OZ700 for about a year. Its performed faultlessly !! One of the best clutches Ive ever owned.
Pedal is light, and it grips !!!!!!! Drives like stock too.

Mine is extremely light as well. I bled it for half an hour thinking something wasn't right They all seem to be that way. My 1st one had a defective Pressure Plate so Andy shipped me out a new one asap ! I am the only person that I have ever heard having that issue so I had no problem going with the textrailia again as I think it was just a fluke ! I only have 20 km...on the new motor /blower/tires/clutch/etc so I don't have any opion bad or good yet but I am assuming all will be fine !

I say go Textrailia all the way as they have a great rep !!!

With 0 break in miles on the clutch it hit the dyno. With 20 miles on the clutch it hit the track on street tires. I've got over 7k miles on it now and I come off the line at 5k shooting a 100hp shot of nitrous....I like this clutch

We only use the Textralia here. We have had great luck. Feel free to call me if anyone has questions at all..

I bought both my Textralia's from ECS (Chris). They great to deal with and have fast delivery service. I would highly recommend them.

I have used SPEC II and SPEC IV clutches. They have both performed well with my different applications. However, my SPEC IV disk wore out and it was time to buy a new clutch. After careful consideration I went with the Exo Skel Dual Disk from Textralia...in fact I just got my shipping # stating it would be at my door next week.

Easy Vette,
There is no test for the hydralics, is there and would it do it all the time not just when running hard? Is my thinking correct on this?
