I'm sure Kevin will really apprecaite you posting the price being he owns the mold!
I would think they would be the same price for any member and per the old thread, durring the initial resurface of the mold I was charged the same as stated in that thread. Just to be on the safe side I will edit it even though don't see why its a problem to post what I paid since it was a set fee per Winnie at ACP.

Its no problem...I just don't advertise on any forums as I am not in the business of making hoods and I don't really want to see every car with a Stinger hood. I know that the hoods were $100 higher over 1 year ago when me and a few others purchased them.

I did buy the mold from Jim Hall because I had too to get a hood...not as a business venture. I wanted a Stinger Hood...and so did about 6 others at the time. If I was smarter I would have had everybody pitch in some $$ to cover the cost of the mold..but felt that would take too long and I wanted my hood done prior to last years A&A party. Jim quit selling the hood as he was fighting cancer at the time and had to worry about that..since then he as recovered and is back in the Corvette business.
If people want one they usually get referred to me by friends or have seen my car or others on the internet, magazines, or at car shows. I know Vette Mag and Street Scenes have done a couple of articles....although I haven't even seen those articles in person.....others have simply told me about them.
The hoods are high temp resin. Kerry (ACP) talked me out of doing CF when I wanted one...he told me it wasn't worth it if I wanted to paint it. If I wanted to run raw CF then it would be a different story. The High Temp is similar to CF Z Preg...I believe it is still a type of Fiber Glass..all I know is that it weighs 1/2 the weight of a stock hood, and is 3-4lbs heavier then a Raw CF version. If your interested send me an email or PM and I will forward it to ACP so that they have your name. My email is: sheridan68@comcast.net
