KB done (pics)
still no hood, that gets here tomorrow and i'm having the whole front end repainted next week. regardless, here are some pics of the finished product.
we took it for the first drive a couple hours ago and HOLY CRAP!
the car was already fun to drive but this thing doesn't even compare.
most important thing to say... if you're on the fence about going KB... DO IT!! the quality of this thing (and the entire kit) is amazing and their service is top notch too.

I put in a stage 2 Procharger last December and I am very happy with it. But if I knew about the KB twin-screw system, I think I would have gone with it instead. I did not want to spend an extra $1,500 to $2,000 for a new hood painted and installed, so the Magnacharger was not considered. But I would have for this system. It looks awesome and factory and the power and the delivery of the power are better then any supercharger or turbocharger I have seen here on the forum.

it'll be a couple weeks on the dyno, we racked up way too many residual expenses with the install, almost $700 between new o2's, fluids, plugs and wires and lots of little things that added up very quickly.
i think one of my favorite things about it, like someone said on another forum, is with the satin model it almost looks like it could come from the factory like that. it clearly doesn't feel that way though! i thought about going polished, but i don't think i'd be happy unless EVERYTHING was polished and that's quite a lot of extra dough
my gf just called and said the hood got there this morning and she looked it over and it looks like everything's fine on that. i settled on a body shop finally and it's supposed to go in next week, i'm gonna have them shoot the whole front end because there are a lot of rock chips courtesy of the previous owner.
