IRS would never bring the front end up that high. My front end comes up sometimes about 6" on a 1.40 60' launch.

Sometimes those oil pan shots show up when you least expect them. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the difference in the feel of a 1.40 north of the boarder vs. a 1.40 at Norwalk.

How does the weather forecast look for Friday?

I don't want to be driving for 6 hours each way just to be rained out.

:fingerscrossed:

It is not looking to good and I am not a gambling man so I cancelled my reservations for the room and I will not be making it out to the track. Earl you did a great job of putting this together unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate.

I would love to get together with all of you guys later for a good day of racing, beer, food and commerodery.

It's unfortunatly a tough call, but I expect to see this come off without an issue still. There tends to be some odd weather patterns around the Norwalk and Sandusky area where it's like a parting of the Red Sea and things go around Norwalk.

If you look at the hourly you'll see it looks to be holding off until afternoon: http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...r=0&begDay=145

The other nice reality of a high level track like Norwalk is the Jet dryer rocks if a little hot air is needed to clear things off the track.

I'm still a beliver that we'll need some and not because of all the pretty cars that have been getting some extra wax this week.

I sure hope not. I will be going to the track up here over the weekend, if it rains 2 hours of drive isn't as upsetting as 6 hours only to (possibly) get rained out.

You can give my spot to who ever you see fit.

Thanks again Earl and I am sorry that but I don't want to take the chance.
