Very nice as expected from you...
Dual springs? redline? any wierd dyno fuzz?

I thought that the harland rebuilds were around 1/2 price compared to rollers?
I just bought the kits...still under the bench along with the rollers...
Anyone try the Scorpions? I have a couple of big block sets on my boat engines, and they are or were local to me...

I had no problem hitting 6700rpm with the stock bottom end using PRC dual springs, no weird dyno fuzz. My new heads have comp 921 springs. I plan on not spinning it over 7000rpm. My 91' Vette sees 7600-7800rpm without problems with dual springs as well...Even though the Comp cams rockers are heavier than the aluminum rockers, the mass of the rocker is the bearing, the actual rotational mass of the rocker is less than the aluminum ones...Or so I've read...

Cool...stronger material + better engineering = good product...
I got mine from New Era for $382. They're $419 Now.... and when I called Harland Sharp I believe they quoted me $250... or $200... I don't remember... I just thought it would be better to buy new ones.

Just some info...
over at the ls forum , there are plenty making 7,8, 900 rwhp and more with stock rockers. The bearing kits are just an insurance policy of sorts.
I have 2 vettes, so i bought the rollers and just the bearing kits. I believe they were around $90, but that was a LONG FRIGGIN TIME AGO... and they are still in the boxes..
Yeah I know , stock rockers work just fine.... I just had an itch to put on something better (even though mine had all the bearings), and paying $2xx for stockers just didn't seem worth it....

My current redline is 7200 and I am running a 2.9" pulley w/ oem damper.
Yesterday in a frenzy, I hit the limiter in 2 gears,,,so Yes 7200, but not the norm and spraying enough meth to keep temps under control.
I have new new YTs as well... you can get them fom New Era Perfomnace on eBay for under $400.
I know the stockers are "fine", but with 70,000 miles on them I didn't want to button up my cam install w/ my .595/.608 lift cam and have them puke needle bearings.
Also, I figured the stronger roller rockers would have less potential for deflection under high lift/high load conditions.
Plus... they're freaking sexy lookding
They work great. There is valvetrain noise when the oil is not, but nothing worse than stock when hot. Click the link in my sig for an idle video. I don't run fuel rail covers and I have a vented hood so that actually increases the noise.
