Like the bling, especially those heat shields, they look a bunch better than the wrap you typically see.

hey mike...just walking in from the garage. mike, dude, every little thing is taking sooooo much time. chris and i needed to fab up a new power steering reservior and it was pretty tricky as the ls2 tb is a bit larger. we needed to be creative the bracket that holds it. my other buddie dean runs a cnc machine shop and he spun me a lid and cap..sweet.
we also went thru the wiring harness changing some stuff around. the alternator is on the passenger side so i pullled out the wire running up the driver side of the intake and installed a heavier gauge up tha passenger side. also wired up ls2 tb. its all the little things that take time!!!!!! hey i could have left it on the driver side but hated the fact that the wire crossed ove the intake. call me **** but ...........

oh yeah i spent 6 hrs polishing on the one side!!!

oh yeah the power steering pulley is being a PITA too!
seems like it doesnt wanna come off

thanks guys for the comments...

Nick,

Paint your intake manifold the same color as your valve covers, I think it would really set it off.

Allright Nick... those shields look absolutely bad *** and need to become part of what comes with the kit. PTS needs to pay you for doing the R&D for them especially with what you come up with for the LS2. Sounds like your making good progress.

Most excellent bling and... those shields... I want a set! Plus they make nice looking EGR blockoffs..

yeah they tied in nice with EGR. only one boss needs to welded on the collecotr area. i then use arp 12 point bolt
the shields are approx 3/4" so they should have some decent heat reflectient qualities. when building these though bling was all that i had in mind. you know me, all bling and no go....427 ls7 with 1200-1400 in rated turbos..
