But I'll bite...

Magnacharger aka Maggie 112 Interwarmed 7psi
Stock shortblock, LS6 Heads, Blower Cam, LS2 TB.
Driven a few times a week.

Pros: looks cool, sounds cool, power comes on fast.
Cons: power potential, cost to buy new

Est Cost: about $16K (original owner paid 12K for LPE to install non-intercooled maggie in 2002 )

Notes: I couldn't justify buying a new system today. The Maggie has it's place, but there are better options. If I had a bone stock Corvette today I'd probably buy a centrifugal setup or maybe even twin turbos

RJW you kill me. That PD blower couldn't get much bigger...but if you thought you could fit a 6.0L you would give it a try!

I'll bet I could drive a turbo car, PD blown car, and my Centrifugal in the span of 45 minutes and want all three, but here goes!

Type of FI: A&A P1SC
Make/model of Fi setup:2001 Z06 on stock bottom end
Engine size significant mods: Headers/ Fuel system/ I tune it myself
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver

Pros: Makes excellent power (587RWHP and high 400's in TQ) I can break the rears loose in 1st, 2nd and 3rd at will.
Cons: Begins to make boost at 2400ish RPM
Est Cost: $7500 if you include the fuel system, upgraded BOV, Gauges ect.....
Notes/suggestions: Realize where you wish to be and be honest. I knew I would be justifying more later. I almost wish I had gone to a D1SC early (Andy warned me and I didn't listen). This stuff is addicting. I'm looking at a rebuild (because of mileage) and I'm wondering whether a 402 stroker and more boost will be enough!!!

Last but not least, the guy that is the cheapest will cost you in the end. Find someone reputable and stick with them. A&A and ECS are excellent. Most (99%)of the supporting vendors here are top quality. If they cost a little more they are probably worth it.

Hope this helps.

Type of FI: Hybrid Poisitive Displacement I/C Superchrger
Make/model of Fi setup: MAGNACHARGER / Polished
Engine size significant mods: 347 c.i. / GT2-3 Cam, / Headers / LQ9 Heads
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver, Weekend Warrior, Strip/Track Car I drive it daily during the summer months, and part time during the mushroom season. I drive it daily on the street, Autocross, and Open Track the car.

Then please rate your overall experience with the equipment: Love the low end power. Wish it had more power after 5000 rpm. Sounds awesome, and gets a lot of attention at the show in shines.

Pros: Beautiful looking set-up, sounds wicked, great off throttle power and power band.
Cons: Limited top RPM power, Needs hood (Or a hole in the stock hood), $ per H/P is the least of all F/I set-ups.
Est Cost: $5k (Used from LPE), $3k hood (including paint)
Notes/suggestions\ For general street driving, it's a great set-up. If you want to drag race, it's not the best, but can perform providing you can get the low end TQ to the ground with some tires and spray some N20 thru it. For autoross, and open track, IMO it could kick *** (providing you have the tires)

Type of FI: I/C Maggie
Engine size significant mods: Stock 02 Z06 (LS6)
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver, occasional trip the the track and HPDE

Then please rate your overall experience with the equipment:

Pros: Loads of low end torque, big block feel.
Cons: Limited top end power
Est Cost: When I bought the car, it was already installed. If you are looking to save money, either buy a used one or buy a car with the mods already installed.
Notes/suggestions: Base you decision on what you are looking to achieve. If you are looking for high HP #'s go with centri or TT. If you want a fun street car, I would recommend the Maggie.

B]Type of FI:[/B]Procharger P1sc(now useing an A&A bracket)
Make/model of Fi setup: 00 FRC
Engine size significant mods: 2005 LS6 studded block, stock gaskets.
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver, Weekend Warrior, Strip/Track Car Daily driver, weekend warrior,DAILY BIKE CRUSHER,track car, road race, street race, drag race
Then please rate your overall experience with the equipment: Currently making 7psi and 580rwhp and 510rwtq with SMALL injectors, and a FAST 90,AFR 205's,..and a NON boost friendly camshaft. VERY HAPPY with the car, very happy. Runs hard, I can drive it daily(which I owe that to the tuner, Johan@diablosport). I have gone throgh about 8 belts useing the original procharger bracket. Then I came across a used A&A bracket,...which I gotta say, I have ZERO belt issues now, and can finally have some piece of mind.

Pros: I can't complain. I walk bikes,..have driveability, AC, and it sounds WICKED(B&B bullets,LG pro's, no cats, and a P1SC)
Cons: I had to do alot of work to make my kit work to make good power. Modifing the frame radiator, making my own hoses,..etc. I guess if I bought a NEW kit it would have been easier but, I enjoyed it regardless.
Est Cost: 3K used procharger kit. 350 for used A&A bracket. Labor, didn't cost me anything but hours outta my life. Great experience.
Notes/suggestions\ I recommend it, I love it....but, in time, i'll end up building my own SINGLe turbo setup, for the type of driving that I do, and the type of power that I wanna make.

Later.

Type of FI: Twin Turbo
Engine size significant mods: MTI 347
Your vehicle's purpose: Nice weather driver

Pros: tons of power, 611 wrhp, 650 rwtq on pump gas no meth

Cons: Heat

Est Cost: Purchased car as package.

Notes/suggestions: I really love it. The only thing if you decide to go with turbos is what style mount. The STS are easy on the heat but I like the exotic look of the top mount turbos and being in the engine bay and not hanging off the back.

Type of FI: D1SC Procharger.
Make/model of Fi setup: 02 Z06
Engine size significant mods: Forged motor, heads/cam/alky, headers, etc etc.
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver, Weekend Warrior, Strip/Track Car Weekend toy/Track car.
Then please rate your overall experience with the equipment: 680rwhp, 565rwtq at 10lbs, drives like stock, with double the power.

Pros: Crazy fast.
Cons: Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go?
Est Cost: Lots. Bought the car with the blower and the motor already in it, changed the clutch, redid the top end, the fuel system, cooling, intercoolers, exhaust, the list goes on.
Notes/suggestions\ The car is exactly what I want out of it for now.

Type of FI: Procharger P1SC (Pending F1R when I have Time to install)
Make/model of Fi setup: Procharger A&A bracket -> ECS for F1R
Engine size significant mods: 427 C5R , AFR 225, ls6 intake, EWP, Coolers for everything, A4 stage V by RPM, PCV system
Your vehicle's purpose: Daily driver, Weekend Warrior, Strip/Track Car: All the above

Then please rate your overall experience with the equipment:

Pros: Easy power, engine runs great and stays cool, No belt issues with A&A set up.
Cons: Cost, Not stealth, Cost, addictive, never enough power, 98 PCM
Est Cost: FI originally $6ooo, with add-ons much much higher
Notes/suggestions:Go with a system that can handle at least 75-100 hp above your target. You will have room to grow and also will not be stressing the system from the start. Driving a set-up at its edge takes experience ( not to end up with a blown motor or broken parts ).

Mods are in my sig as well for my 99. Im still geting used to a centrifugal supercharger, coming from a 03 Cobra with the a Whipple on it. I actually like this better, since the power isnt instant like a twin screw.

The car is my daily driver (wouldnt have it any other way) Luckily I bought it already done, or else expect to pay big bucks.

Well put. I have a 8 rib D1SC, forged bott, 100% alky with signif addl cooling upgrades(I road race the car). APS twin turbo is a great option for those who want low end torque, more hp/eadroom than maggie and don't want to spend the $$$$ for high boost SC set up that provides huge HP and generates torque early due to smaller pulley sizing(boost comes on fast). For anyone who is into road racing, recommend they scrap FI and move to larger displacement NA. As Peter Plan said, high boost FI can easily run $20k. Race prepped NA engine will run approx $25k depending on how far you want to push it. As Peter Pan says "if you want to play, you gotta pay".
