What's the big deal about 15 psi?

Boost is just a restriction.....I held 12 to redline with my maggie, spinning a lot slower than Funk OOL....

So you are saying more restriction makes more HP?

I'm sure that his torque has gone up...but what about his IAT's

Let me put it this way

If his engine was a 427 what would he be making? 6 psi...8 psi...10 psi

And which would be making more power his 402 or the 427...

Now I will teach you something, I like you so listen-put the maggie back on and forget about every other combo. I make 15lbs right from idle all the way to red-line! Car pulls like a jet plain and spins 1st, 2nd and 3rd with 345 BFG drag-radials, which is a 14 inch wide tire. You will never need more from a street car. 402CI X 15LBS = SICK CAR!!!!!

Spinning in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd is apparently great for your ego, however, it doesn't do **** for your performance. All the Power in the world isn't worth a damm if you can't put to the ground. It looks like you need to make some major modifications to your suspension or this power upgrade is just a total waste.

That's funny, is funcool dumping 4+ gallons per minute?

Seriously what is air density ratio? You can have 6 PSI at x density ratio and 10 PSI at same density ratio but still flow same mass air!

Funcool have fun.

You've lost it...

Do you think that I have to wait for boost to build with my twin screw?

I have 2 maggies sitting in my shop and just sold a third several months back. Do you think that I would go back? Not in this lifetime thanks...

Wanna see a video of 30 psi off idle?...

Try this....dyno of 2.8 kb on Mustang watch the boost gauge

Well at least we know that Funcool has returned to normal....same jive talk we been hearing since CF gave birth to him a while back.

Funcool...I estimate that at approximately 20 psi, one good blip of the throttle and you would either snap your 8 rib belt or bend, mutilate or break the weakest link in your drive setup...not to mention over 400F outlet temps (better order more meth nozzles).

I've already done 21 psi on a maggie, so you still have some catching up to do, grasshopper...
