Default New Ecs Bracket Installed!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I dropped in my new CDN PERFlongblock this weekend and started mounting my NEW ECS PROCHARGER BRACKETS!!!!!!They mounted up with ease!!!!!! Belt installation was a breeze, and my god-tightening the belt was so easy-Doug&Chris hit this right out of the park with the Novi and now the Procharger bracket!!!!!One word of caution-you cannot use a pulley smaller than 3.8"-so this bracket is for those that want to make BOOST!!!!!!!!!!If I get a chance I'll dyno the car, if not I'll be at the track for sure!!!!!!

I got mine Saturday but I didn't install mine yet, I took my D1 off to send to ATI to have them go over it(seals etc). Just precautionary since it's off. The bracket almost looks too simple compared to the older style. Looks great!!! Can't wait til the D1 comes back now to put it on.

Did you happen to use the same belt as before or do you need another size.....even Chris (ECS) wasn't sure if it would be the same.

In your first post you said that the smallest pulley is 3.8" is that correct or is that the LARGEST pulley you can use with this bracket?

Bro-this is a CDN PERF 402. I either needed to get a bigger stall or go bigger cubes-so I went for the bigger cubes cause the cost of getting a new stall and getting it installed-it was cheaper for me to sell my 347 and upsize it! I kept the CR the same-10.1-I feel it is the perfect ratio for making big power and torque with a centri! Plus this allows me to try those new crazy L92 heads as well!!!!

I can't tell you how pumped up I am about this new bracket-and I have few more ideas for next year that I'll be going over with ECS as well, like a cog setup. I know there already is a setup out there but I know ECS can make it better!

402 I knew you were holding out

Does the patriot heads have a tall deck design like AFR and ETP ? I figure 20psi give or take might be pushing the limit of a standard deck head.

PS. what happened to your LS2 intake ?

Some people can tune around the thinner decks

Hey bro-I told you I was installing a new motor on friday-you didn't catch that did you? Deck isn't an issue-Harlan and alot of the boys have run well over 20 psi with stock castings. From my experience in the Mustangs this was not an issue either-remember I ran 9.40's with a Novi and a lttle 302 back in 97-no intercooler or meth either. As long as the motor doesn't detonate-it will be fine-just have to have the right octane of fuel when running meth-you can't run C16 and meth together.

I always say beter safe than sorry. I understand that detonation is usually the culprite when it comes to lifting heads, but I am sure you can push past the gasket with enough boost. Anyway, im not hating, just my two cents. Good luck boys !
