how does the 90mm fit on an LS6 intake with only an 78mm opening???How do you get it to seal correctly??
For the LS1 and LS6 owners, you can send you intake manifold to TPiS http://www.tpis.com/ in Minnesota and they can replace the 78 mm nose with a 90 mm nose. Their price is $350, with you intake used as the core.
That's a lot cheaper than buying a FAST 90 mm intake manifold, and you are within 5 to 7 hp of the FAST manifold - 90 mm throttle body combination.

My error, the bolt patern fits but the 78 cannot be enlarged enough to fit the 90 properly. TPIS does a snout swap that will work. For a Heads/Cam combo the FAST 90 is the best match for our TB's as far as the best power, and for FI the LS2 ported produces the most. The L92 & LS7 manifolds will work with our TB's as well, but that is for a different head design.

Tracy,
TPiS now has a 90 mm round snout for the LS1 and LS6 intake manifold that will fit your new billet throttle bodies perfectly.
Picked up a 100mm TB, and I'm working with Sled28 to customize a 100mm snout for the LS7 intake which is in the works.
Curious to see if the 90mm T/B is the bottleneck were seeing on big cubed N/A motors with runner style intakes.
Well when we're pulling vacuum at the high rpm's, that tells me we need a bigger TB. I can't wait to test this out on your 440 TLaSelva! It will without a doubt need more air!
When I had Nick Williams make me a custom 100mm TB we saw just at 1/2" less vacuum over the NW 90mm. But the tuning was a biatch.
Although, this design looks ALOT more flow friendly.

Lewis, any testing or results on a Vic Jr? I currently have the LS2 90mm on said Vic, and was wondering if the 95mm would also be an option? Sure are nice looking pieces and would match up great with the looks of the Aluminum Elbow we run.
