Default Engine Size vs Powerband vs Power adder

I would like to discuss something since there seems to a lot of interest in this. I would like people to post there dyno graphs for the category they are in. Oh and I found this over on LS1Tech pretty interesting graphs on some new cars.

[/QUOTE]

Lets start off with a 346 and at least 150 shot, heads cam or stock does not matter.

2. Stroked or bored motor at least 370ci or more with minimum of 150 shot.

3. Stock cubes forged or not with a maggie no spray

4. Stock cubes forged or not with a maggie and spray

5. Stroked or bored with a maggie(112 or 122) no spray

6. Stroked or bored with a maggie(112 or 122) and spray

7. Same as 3-4-5-6 but with a centrifical blower regardless of brand just list what it is

8. Stock cubes with TT.(please identify kit)

9. Stock cubes with single turbo (please list turbo size)

10. Stroked or bored with TT

11 Stroked or bored with single turbo

12. Fully built N/A stock displacement.

13 Fully built NA stroker motor larger the better.

The point of this thread is not to put anyones kits or combo down but to see were each of these combos start to make power and were it ends. I am really curious to see were most of the power curves peak and how high or low in the rpms all this occurs. I really want to see how many setups actually are making power in the 6000+ range along with how fast the torque drops in the upper rpms.

Heres mine fully built 364 LS2 APS TT 2005 GTO with GT3071 T28 flanged at 15psi clutch started to slip a little on the top end.

Thanks Slowhawk I really thought this thread would get a little more attention I realize a search can be done for various setups. I was just thinking putting various graphs and combos in one place would lead to some interesting info and discussions, oh well.

Thanks believe it or not the car is very easy to drive and accelerates very hard down low as long as you roll into the throttle otherwise its a smoke show. I have a dyno run at 18psi but the clutch let go so I did not want to post that graph for this thread.

MTO What is your combo graph looks very nice, the one thing that is already becoming apparent so far in the few examples is it seems like 6200 rpms is were power seems to fall. That is why I posted this thread because it seems like most cars I see with the exception of big Centrificals dont pull much past 6200 to 6500rpms.

Here is a graph of my stock 5.3L with a Magnuson Radix at about 6.5psi and stock exhaust.

Here is a graph with my current setup... a 60-1 turbo at 9psi tuned in 107F ambient, catless full 3" with Corsa Sport

5.3's die off up top because the stock cam is horrible for forced induction. An 02+ LS6 cam only upgrade can literally add 100rwhp... really allowing the 5.3 to breathe up top.

On the horizon is a TC66 with an F1 wheel, 4L80E/Vig3200...

Bill thanks that is the info I am looking at and so far it seems most kits regardless start to die at around the 6000+ rpm fairly soon. Your 5.3 certainly has a very nice graph with a lot of area under the curve perfect for the truck that it is. I agree the Z06 cam will help up top but will certainly shift the power to the right more.

Why thank you Les!

It does pull hard and when it hooks up it gives you a face peel effect

Not bad for a used ProCharger!

Thanks,Matt
