Good luck which ever choice you make.
That is one beautifull car, Good job.

I put down 641rwhp with the stock heads, bottom end, and 91 octane with a D1.

Where are the other blowers in relation to that?

Now I have a forged 402 with over 800rwhp on 91 and the same D1. I say D1. Only recently have I considered an F1 for my bigger motor.

The kit that I have put together that is shown in the link here can grow with the car. The D-1SC is what we have in Snitz's 04 that is making 740 rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno at 16 psi. The D-1SC can be run at 7-8 psi or pullied to make 16 psi. I sell this kit with 60 pound fuel injectors which work great on stock engines up through (when upgraded fuel system is used) 750 rwhp. Bob

I like Snitz' post. Any tuner is going to ask you this; "What is your goal?" My "goal" was I don't want to blow up my motor, I want 500 RWHP on a low boost setting (8lbs +/-), I want lots of low end torque on my stock 346. I live in Phoenix so an intercooler was essential.

My goals were not (and still aren't) to turn up the boost, forge, and make 700 RWHP. I wanted a fast street car that would send me from 0-70 as fast as possible without breaking stuff. That's what I got....with my Kenne Bell!

VERY happy with the end result, no issues (belt or otherwise) in 6,000 miles 12-months. ECS and A&A are PROVEN centri applications, you can't go wrong with either if the centri is the best fit for your goals.

It's a very tough decision, I was a hair from sending my car to A&A, had a talk with ECS but I'm happy with my decision. Good luck!!

I will try and add my .02 worth. I would suggest the A&A Vortech set up. However I would go with the T trim with a larger pulley. If you go with the S trim, you will eventually want want to go to something larger down the road. You can keep the boost down to an acceptable level and change pulleys later on if you want. You can only go so far with the S trim.

Now to the type of unit. I choose the centrifugal. But the type will be a matter of what YOU want. I wanted a little forward motion before the monsters came to play and all hell breaks loose. You may want it all on the bottom end. A matter of personal choice. So good luck on your decision. There are a numbe of good FI shops and tuners here. I can only speak of the one that I have use, A&A. They have always been great to me. I've had no problems with the setup, and Andy has always been first class in everything I have come to him with.
