Default Running Temperature

My car has the TTi X Kit. My tuner has the fans set to come on at
190* with a stock thermostat. What thermostsat should I be running if the fans are set to come on at that temp? Seems like the fans run too much

Thanks,
The Big Dog

fans are likely fighting the thermostat

if the thermostat won't let the rad go below 190, fans will run all the time after the car warms up.

go to a cooler thermostat, maybe 170-180

too cool isn't always too good but the turbos DO add alot of running heat.

I have a similar question, alot of folks go to a 160 thermostat, any real benefit to running that cool, I worry about getting the oil temps up running that cool. turbos certainly help there!

a 160 degree thermostat will not make your car run at 160 degrees.

I've got a 180* Thermostat in mine and all works well together!

Fans and Temp - Perfect combo! IMHO!

Thanks,Matt
