i would think if you were looking for a drag only car then 90 10 shocks would be the way to go, me i run coil overs and while my car isn't perfect for the drag strips it does hold it's own and can also rip it up on the turns
On some street/drag cars, loosening up or taking off the front sway bar seems to help transfer weight.
Quite a few Guys use the QA-1's because it's a click away from street to track setting.
I'd recommend that you get a CCW drag pack too with the amount of power that you're putting out because if you hook up with drag radials, you're going to break parts.

I run no front sway bar with CCW slicks and skinnies. Some of the guy's are using less expensive 90/10 Lakewood drag shocks with very good results. Here is the link http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1688142
I am not using them YET, but will in the future.
If you decide to go with them, they are available from forum vendor HorsePower Sales 954 984-8040

Can you explain?I don't understand the difference between hooking with the CCW drag pack or drag radials as far as breaking parts.
Thanks.

Typically, the guys who run a drag pack run a bias 16" rear tire that has more of a wrinkle type sidewall, and is much less shocking to the drive line when they hook than a drag radial, especially when you run a 17 or 18" drag radial.(also the bias tires are avail.26,27&28" for even more sidewall) Dominic
