Default I Need More

Last summer ECS installed a Novi kit, meth kit,headers,x-pipe,hi-flows,and clutch and we got 581rwhp 488rwtq all this with a safe tune and 6-8psi.Well you all no boost is like car crack and I need more. Well I am not ready for a complete forged motor yet but I'm thinking a ECS blower cam and spring set up.How much more power will I get keeping the same safe tune and will I feel a differance.

You should be around - that is with the cam and springs:

an extra 30-40 RWHP so you should be around 611+ RWHP

I'd say it is worth it because the cam will help that baby breathe and utilize the FI a lot better!

Let us know the am you choose and are you doing heads too?

EDIT: you will "NEED" a new tune and the METH will keep it safe

Thanks,Matt

You're really at the max level that the stock internals can take. Why waste more money on a block that you're going to have to upgrade.

Start putting some $$ away for a forged motor.

Big difference. When I did the cam and meth I got over 90 hp, with the same amount, if not 1 or so less. It paid off for me! you should have no probs running 10psi, I ran all last season like that. PM me for more details.

Cam/Meth/Springs It's amazing what ECS is getting out of a stock bottom setup.

Do the ECS blower cam, meth as fuel, pull the restrictor out and retune. I am doing the above on stock bottom and running 15lbs of boost. Can it be done? Yes. Is is recommended? NO! At that point you are basically on your own though!

Hahaha, I was going to say the same thing. Although it's just your operating system for the auto, the tunes are different for the LS1 to his LS6.

Dave,
Go with the cam, springs and meth, that way if you do go forged later you can still use all those parts and not waste any money. Leave the restrictor plate in, and I'll retune.
