it seems like nos is going to be the route, now can someone point me in the direction for a safe kit. i understand the plate system is the way to go? is that correct?

I appreciate the advice as to a blower, its just that i dont see it making financial sense to blow 8-10 grand on it for a car that i barely use. its not a question of having it as i am 25 making well into the six figures, just think updating the house makes more sense.

Yeah get a plate kit. I would contact Dave at Nitrous Outlet. He is super nice and will help you with all your needs.

Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but if it's a generalized statement you're pretty far off base. Some people like different set ups. Not everyone secretly wishes they were blown. I could have a blower right now if thats what I wanted. In fact, for little more than I paid for my motor I could have bought you're whole car when it was in the for sale section. As I said in my first post all setups have their pros and cons, it's up to the individual to decide whats right for them.

You should have, it's fast as hell with a ton of $$$ in it lol.

The statement explains itself. If you could afford the next step, you would take it, period. I couldn't afford a $30,000 motor so I spent $15,000. If I could afford the motor you have I would have picked one up.

If I could have afforded a twisted twin turbo kit I would have one of those as well. Statement applies as it did with Chris.

Since a decent nitrous setup is only $1,100, it's the #1 option for cheap power.

I never said it makes you better than someone, Chris just has to put away his jump to conclusions mat and not take things personally.

Nothing personal about it.

The one jumping to conclusions is yourself. You stated that if I had the money I would have bought a blower, which is false. I dont know where you got that so to be honest your jumping to conclusions. Ive had a build and goals in my mind since I bought the car and it has never consisted of a supercharger.

They are both respectable IMO.

I totally agree with your statements - not everyone desires a supercharger. In fact when comparing apples to apples (comparable HP/TQ) the nitrous car will win that race.

Everybody secretly want to be BLOWN.

Best bang for buck is spray. Downside is that you have to fill the bottle, remote openers, bottle warmers etc. A lot to go wrong and if it does you've got a toasted motor.

Also be very careful with NOS. There are a few states that will impound your car if you are caught with an active NOS system in the car. (my understanding is that if the bottle is in the bracket you are busted)

Go Nitrous and get the NANO kit. I did it and you dont have to wait for the bottle warmers or any f that BS. Just turn both bottles on and you instantly have 950-1050 psi and ready to make a pull.
