Default Good blower cam spec's

Looking for some good blower cam specs something in the middle of mild and wild. I would like to do a cam at the same time as i put the procharger kit on. also is an aftermarket 25% underdrive pully necessary? thanks mike

You dont want a underdrive pulley with the supercharger, it will lower your boost and may cause belt slip. If anything you would go with and overdrive pulley, but if you are on stock motor the stock pulley will work just fine.

small 224/228 114LSA .580ish lift
med 228/236 114LSA .590ish lift
large 234/240 114LSA .600ish lift

Comp Cam XER lobes prefered... I'm running a med. cam 226/232 .588/.596 lift on a 116LSA..Runs and idles nice. The first 2 will make great power and idle nice with the last one having a large lopey idle..

228/236 .588"/.602" 114lsa would be my vote... 228/236 .571"/578" 114lsa is roughly the same, just a less aggressive cam lobe, easier on the valve springs...both can make 750-800rwhp with the right setup..

My P1SC-equipped vert had great results w/EnglandGreen's Whiplash cam. Car went from 430rwhp to 507rwhp. Specs are proprietary, but it's low 240's duration and low .600's lift.

It really matter's on what mods you have.I prefer the small duration Cams for a stock drivability.Just finished a stock motor 02 Z06 with 10lbs,meth ect that made north of 700rwhp/580tq with a very small duration, high lift Cam,stock heads.

Will the large cam be loud and lumpy because that is what I want. How do you think it will sound with long tubes,x-pipe hi-flows and titaniums. Is this cam to aggresive for a novi blower.

Mike...How about a 228/232 .595/.598 on a 114lsa?

It just came out of the vette

AS for as a pulley, you really want an ECS overdrive pulley, if you're going to go that route.

My new cam is a 228/236 .588/.601 on a 116lsa
