i am looking for a oil cooler. i found your adapter for the oil pressure port. http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.co...apter_lsx.html
what an fittings does this come with. also does the adapter open at a certain temperature or is it always open. i am trying to find something that will open at about 200. i may have to buy another piece for this to happen.

The oil cooler adaptor (with provisions for stock oil temp sending unit machines into it) can be used for any type of oil cooler you wish to use, it comes complete with hardware and a new gasket.

We designed it to work with the Dewitts rad/oil cooler combo, but it is a universal adaptor so use it as you wish. It has also been tested with different headers so that is not a problem either.

The fittings are AN#10s and if your application needs additional 1/8th inch fittings (for a turbo etc) we can do that for you at no additional charge.

It is always open.

if it is always open, will my car have problems taking too long to warm the oil up.

This week at WGI in the freezing cold I let my car warm up about 10-15 mins before going on the track. The oil temp was 40 degrees when I started the car. I have not only a cooler, but a dry sump which pushes oil into a separate can so it takes even longer to heat up than your conventional system.

Personally I do not think it is an issue, but I always try to warm my car up before taking it out.

ill call and order one today. then i will figure out the routing and such. i am going with a earls oil cooler 13" by 6" by 2" core on the drivers side under the front end. just got to weld up some brackets.
the car is mainly a street car with maybe 5 track trips a year. it also has a kenne bell supercharger, so i think the mounting points will have to be custom.
