Dropping Back In
I wanted to say hello to everyone. Dr Phil currently has my car and it will be on the road soon. After last year's EFI Live mishap, and my car going down, I couldn't even look on the board anymore. 
Now that I can see the light (at the end of the tunnel). I can now enjoy my Vette and all the "fun" things that go along with it (local gatherings, this board, etc). I looked on the board last night after turning the car over to the good Dr., just to look at what was happening in C6 Z world (plan on selling the TT '98 Viper GTS to move to a C6 Z/TTI kit). I couldn't help but check out my favorite stomping ground, the C5 FI section. Good to see the same players are still at it strong. Whats funny is that ~ 9 mos. later, the same topics are being disucssed. Feels like home

Well, we've never met, but I've always enjoyed reading your threads and posts.

Good to see great minds think alike. I picked up black 08 C6 Z yesterday. All I can say about the car is WOW. Dr. Phil will be getting a call later this week to schedule a bit of surgery.
I'll most likely be putting Zila on e-bay and craigs later this week.

Good to see great minds think alike. I picked up black 08 C6 Z yesterday. All I can say about the car is WOW. Dr. Phil will be getting a call later this week to schedule a bit of surgery.
I'll most likely be putting Zila on e-bay and craigs later this week.

Congrats on the purchase. Luv the color. Say it aint so about Zilla
... Feels like my car is losing a twin. I cant wait to see what the good Dr comes up with for the new addition.
Picked my car up yesterday and all I can do is smile (and thats on the break-in, no meth. tune)!!!!

I kid, I kid. Anyway, if you need Vararams, B&B Fusions (call me about these -- they are the most popular C6 Z06 exhaust that retains factory vacuum actuator sound control), or any other Z06 part tell Phil to order it for you through me

Imagine if that was on a highway or walled in strip.
Rear wheel drive and HUGE power can be deadly.
That 911 obviously had AWD, right?
I wonder if that loss of traction was from a gear change and if an automatic trans conversion would have avoided the spin?
I know a Heffner Viper with an auto trans in VA that has a 911 turbo next to it in the same garage.
