Are there any guys out there with cog experience for Procharger. As you all know Arun is building me a 1000 RWHP car right now and I was thinking about a cog set up. I know a guy on here with a F2 cog drive set up ( Rocco) hopefully he will chime in. Im woundering if this is a better way to go than my current 10 ribber. This car will be a 70% track and 30% street. Anybody with knoweledge please jump in.
You might get additional good opinions and experiences posting on LS1 tech. I think I would rather have a little belt slip than rip the ridges off a cog belt. I'm interested in hearing about this.
i looked into a cog system as well (i think they sound wicked), but as i recall i remember reading somewhere that there should be a little bit of area for belt slip so to not cause breakage in a case of any motor flex.
i could just be blowing smoke but i believe i heard this.
there is a guy in the C4 Fi section that could help you with a sprag pully. he can also do diffrent sized SC pullies so you dont ahve to change the crank pully.

Tried the sprag before, it broke after one run. It was a piece my tuner at the time had made out of a transmission i believe. Couldnt take what the f1r dished out
