This depends on your desired power level and application. You can throw on the kit as packaged and be fine tooling around on the street for a while. Or, you can start pushing the envelope...
For the engine side of things i would suggest the Procharger Tuner kit and then get 60lb injectors and a boost a pump. Then get the car custom tuned. This will easily get you the HP number you are looking for.
As for the rest of the car i can't help with, all I do is the supercharger systems.
But I am sure other members with chime in with recommendations.
I was thinking of the Vortech or the Procharger. I would like to be able to hit the track once and a while but mostly street driving.
The A&A kit now comes with the fuel upgrades for $5400.
I was wondering what the pros and cons were between the Procharger and the Vortech products?
I don't think there are really much differences between the two.
The real issue with these systems has been belt alignment and wrap. A&A and ECS have spent a lot of time to make their systems work well without throwing or shredding belts.
After-purchase support is better with these guys too.
I use to have a Maggie and it was a lot of fun, but I have decided to go turbo. I'm not looking for a max effort output and it looks like you aren't either.
Maybe you could post up in your local ara on here to look and get a ride in each of these systems before you buy.
I'm lucky that ECS is just over the bridge for me and have been able to see some of the various power adders, etc ...

Thanks for the info, i will be getting the A&A probably.
Have heard nothing but good stuff about the A&A kit.
your so right Tony, although ECS does have an awesome kit but we all know Im a procharger guy 100%/ I wish ECS would jump back into Procharger and make a killer cog combo

Procharger has some big a$$ head units that for sure !! Can't wait to see some updates on engine build.
That was several years ago. This summer on a stock bottom car in 99 degree heat a novi2000 went 9.80 @ 142MPH and was back at 180 degrees at the end of the return road. 60lb injectors, 6 rib setup, FI cam, (basically their SC600 kit with meth) plus an RPM transmission. They can duplicate this kit pretty easy now.

I don't know why someone would want to screw around with another kit. ECS Paxton kit is the best. You get what you pay for.

I was the first novi kit out there. (and the first to put it in the 9's! on a stock bottom) Still going, over 300 passes on the blower alone, over 400+ on the car. Reliability is the key here. This is a fairly basic setup, and still on a 6 rib. It could use an eight, but at that power level, 6 rib is safer! Novi work, and they have been proven, over and over again.
Give ECS a call.
