Sounds like the wastegates might have stuck shut. Check your wastegate connections to make sure all the lines are connected properly..

Did you get this twin turbo at ebay? How much cost for the other parts like silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps, and turbo oil feed and drain lines for the turbos, two wastegates and a blow off valve?. I'm plan to do on my car as well, but I am not sure about this turbo if really worth or I will spend almost the same amount to buy the STS or APS...

What do you mean there are no lines hooked up to the WG's? You should have a line going to your boost controller and another going to your turbo if I remember correctly.

This was an EBAY TT setup.

I would talk to Nick Yoskin and pick his brain. Being that its a PTK knock off, maybe he can walk you through some of the issues.

at a minimum you need a boost ref to the top of the wastegate in order to get them to open.

I am no expert, I'm still in the middle of installing my turbo kit myself. But I've had the wastegate explained to me by the guys as STS and you absolutely must run a vacuum line to the lower port on the Wastegate. If you have no lines on it, then as I understand it the wastegate will never redirect pressure out as wasted air when the spring reaches the boost level it's designed for.

The port on the end of the wastegate 'can' be hooked up to a boost controller to provide a way to overboost beyond what the spring is rated for. Giving you the option to go from 5psi (spring rated) to 7, 10, etc using a manual/electronic boost controller. If you aren't running a boost controller then you just let the outside port vent to atmoshpere.

For my kit (your's may be different) I had to tap into the brake booster vacuum line and ran a 1/4" line to the lower port on the wastegate. I was told if I didn't do this, or if that line failed then there would be nothing to force the boost to go out of the wastegate and it would overboost and enter the engine, this may explain your 15#'s.

But, you absolutely must have a line hooked up to the lower port on the wastegate.

If you are using some type of boost controller then you'll have to look up the manual to see how it needs to be installed, but the basic principle shoud be the same.

Upper port = port on the end of the wastegate, furthest from the exhaust piping, sits centered at the end

Lower port = port in the middle of the wastegate, sits closest to the exhaust/manifold pipe.

I AM NOT AN EXPERT... I MAY BE VERY WRONG....
