That is the reason we have not added my write up for my web site on my findings and what the Interface can do. I always base my stuff on real world experiance and have some more ideas on what the Interface can do and want to include all the correct info, not what i just know at this point. Hell, everyone is still learning on what the Interface can do (just realized something today). Like in my reply to Beer, most think this is a dry only tuning tool, well it's not as the a/f can be adjusted on the wet hits the same way. Man if I was running a DP Wet kit I would love to the ability to adjust my day to day fine tuning of the a/f ratio (yes, serious racers do need to tune per day their wet hits to get a/f correct) and not be messing with 16 jets. Think about that one, throw a couple dip switches or try changing out the jets with the trial error method of the past. Man it's great time to be in the game, for sure. There are numerous other new products out there, but this one is truly innovative. Anyway, watch for a complete write up coming with all findings, good, bad and ugly; as everyone who knows me knows I will tell it how it happens. Again for those that may think I am pimping for HSW, no not at this time, lol, I make 0 dollars and never have made a penny, even with any product I talk about on my site. I have never even spoken to them on the phone, just on the forums.

just my opinion, but i think you should work with it a bit more before you recomend it to everyone in every single post. you know my expierince with it and i think it needs work. i am not saying the idea is bad, im saying that it needs improvement. you are right, most guys (not hard core racers) will not adjust thier a/f everyday wet or dry, but as long as you are not crazy rich/lean i think you will be ok. as far as pimping hsw, thats a matter of opinion. there are many people/mods (on ls1tech) that have acknowledged that you are clearly bias towards them. you say you have not made any money off them and i believe you, but what about discounts on products? im not trying to start **** but im just calling it like i see it. i hope once you get more expierience with the interface you truely review it (good/bad/ugly) without any distortion. too many peoples wallets/motors may depend on it. i wish you luck with the product and thier customer service as i did not. once again just my opinion, you should have not deleted my thread about it on ls1tech. even though there was some non-tech going on there was still some good info on it.

p.s. if you want to adjust the a/f on a direct port you do not need the interface, you can adjust the regulator and get it where you want. another thing you may want to mention is that the interface will not work on SD cars.

The only monetary thing I have ever had going with HSW, is the fact that a PM was sent and asked for a price/deal on plumbing my intake. They sent me a price and I thought it was fine and accepted, end of story, the rest is history. Why did I go with HSW? Well they are really the only company that has a good grasp and know how concerning the dry technology. Yea that thread, was not deleted for the reasons you think, it was because of the one company that was banned was brought into the argument, that's all (I guess I got offended, lol). I don't take this stuff personal and all is well. Hell, go to tech and do a search on all my threads, you will see that when I first got into the dry thing it was NOS that I was supporting, as much as HSW. Why? Only because they were the only ones that had the knowledge to do a dry kit and I agreed with this technology. However, the same thing happened and the opposing vendors got nasty and belligerent every time I talked up NOS, which at that time was not carried by any of them. Some very heated arguments and the opposing pose' was gang banging my threads, lol, and no one was on my side (cry). They get threatened very easy. We just like getting into the new technology and if agreeing, then support them on a forum based way; and do realize I get a little carried away, but that's just part of my inherent style. NOS did finally recognize my support and gave me a free rebuild kit for my electric bottle noid.

We have to stay on track here, as that can get the thread shut down. So, Anyway, back to the Interface, yes I do need some more time with it. We didn't get very much logged data and haven't had a chance to hit it big time and working on incorporating it into my other two stages which will be additional information. There are some other advanced tuning ideas that we are working on, however they will require a companion laptop and tuner program. Basically was just verifing that it was doing what it was supposed to, and it did. Really, other than a wiring or set-up glitch (all late model electronics have some compatibility type problems once in a while) everything I have heard from other users is that it works as promised and works fine. Seems it truly is a plug and play type device; have talked to a few guys outside of the forums whom have no relation to HSW so their unbiased opinions were taken to heart. I do truly believe once we get all the information on it's capabilities this item will become very popular with wet guys as well as dry guys. As I said before, a win/win for all in the n2o hobby. Hopefully one day you will give it another try. I surely would help in any way that I could.

Adjusting the regulator may in fact work, but that's kind of a crap shoot and messes up the entire tune outside of WOT. So, that's probably the main reason that it's never caught on as it's been a fairly well known fact. That's one way we can cheat and make our injectors bigger than they are, jut raise the pressure. however, when we do this, the entire tune needs adjusting: basically we need to rescale the injectors using the new fuel pressure. This little trick was one we are going to be trying sometime in the future and see how far the 42lb Ford SVO injectors can go. that's a good example the ford injectors are rated 42lb'ers @ 4-bar, Fords 40/45psi fuel pressure they use in their production SVO vehicles. Now when I put these into the Z06 our new pressure of 58psi caused these to now become 47lb injectors. So the math is there and we should be able to come up with an easy formula for approximating new flow rates with an increased pressure. with my dual pumps now, maybe running at 65psi would allow the 42lb'ers to go past my goal of 700/800hp? Good thinking all in all though.

Don't forget the ¼ mile run this time, or rather run out of time before you have to leave again, lol. Yea i have some new seats coming that my lap belts will like, then I am to the track also. We will see who makes it first. My goals this year were to make a 9.xx pass, but I have a ways to go yet, getting the new set-up dialed in with the Interface (mention it so as to stay on track with original post/info, lol) will likely take a few runs as we are adding a delay timer also, to try and cut a 1.4x 60'er. That's a small club with our cars and the IRS, though some with good clutches and the sack to clutch dump at 6000rpm can get em when ever they feel froggy. Gears really are also a key to the fast times. I seem to cross the ¼ mile just after shifting into 4th gear, way out of the power band when hitting the traps. That's an indicator lower gears are needed. What gears are you going with? Also, going with a full built set-up? Thinking 3.7 or 3.9s here. You will have a beast to pilot with lower gears and mucho torque, that's for sure.

fair enough. as far as trying another interface, no way in hell. i would not **** on those guys if they were on fire. they are by far the shadiest vendor i have dealt with. when i was talking about tunning with a regulator i was talking about a stand alone since most DP guys run them. good luck on your project and don't forget to put a little $$$ aside for a rainy day. here is a pic of my last track outing with a 6k 2-step launch.

Come on, jesh, we were playing so nice, but that's your opinion and mine is 100% the other way, to good. Anyway, I have currently somewhere towards 300 runs with 98% sprayed on the stock IRS other than the long output shaft, and tranny too is bonestock. No breakage and low rpm of upto 685rwtq hitting with 5500rpm clutch dumps. My secret is to make sure there is some tire spin. yes, that will give poorer 60'ers, but my wallet feels better. Now with that said, the sucker could blow apart at any time. Oh and a strut brace from DTE also.
Robert

Edit: I missed the point on the DP reg thing you were getting. the info that transpired may be helpfull or insightfull to someone regardless, lol. That's what is cool about doing the back and forth thing and why I try to stick with threads that even go north, often times more tech comes out that we wouldn't think would.
