Actually the gauge is being really weird and even did a loop for no strange reason.
Now it's reading closer to normal, maybe 4# to high on vac and boost. The car feels just fine and still pulls like a train no matter what the gauge says.
So what's the deal? Could it be a connection under the hood or am I in the market for another gauge?
I'm assuming it's an electric with a sending unit. Could be ground or your reference wire. Check it with a meter and check wiring where it could be compromised then consider replacing the sending unit. If you can get it to act up while you have a meter on it, then you'll know whether or not it's the sending unit.
Drew, don't you think your fuel pressur eis a little low, right around 50 PSI? As for the boost gauge, I would think it's the gauge itslef, that's odd.

Ive had a few autometer boost guages go bad on me, they were all mechiacal. But I also had a autometer electric fuel pressure guage read way wrong, I checked the sending unit with another guage and the sending unit was still good.
I have the exact gauge configuration. Having the same problem as you with the boost gauge at the moment. Let me guess it lights up fine but wont read accurately? Mines stuck on 14 vacuum. If you can wait till the end of next week I'll know for sure but I'm pretty sure you'll have to send your gauge in to autometer to be fixed or replaced. There is no sending unit on this gauge as others suggested it's a MAP sensor. I repleced the map sensor with a new from autometer with no change and waiting to get the gauge back. Oh and my FP at idle is like yours with KB BAP, racetronix pump/harness, 60lb inj.

That picture was shot at idle. It's boost referenced so I get 65psi at full boost I believe.
The gauge is electronic, but as previously mentioned it should read off the MAP. I'm not sure if there is a sending unit...
It's not stuck in one place either. It moves the correct directions for boost/vac, but in odd parts of the gauge.
