Ok, since I am pulling all of this out the car I figured I would show you folks how to hide a nitrous system on a car.
The first step is to hid the stainless steel braided hose, which is the main feed line. It is a good idea to cover it in wire loom.
Then you need a good mounting location to mount the solenoid. I prefer to paint them black so they are harder to see. Then I find a location that is near impossible to find it on the car unless you know where.
When you have a solenoid location picked out you then need to find a good place for the nozzle. In my case I was spraying a dry shot and needed to place it before my mass air sensor(MAF). So I found this great location.
Now in order to make it work you often need some custom work. So I made me a bracket to hold the nozzle abou 6-8 inches from the MAF. I also had a special hose made through some stock fittings to make it look stock.
Now this setup on my car was good for 300 HP. I personally ran a 200 HP dry shot on it.
Hiding nitrous is no good without teaching them the talk. It goes something like this. " It's stock sept for da mufflers. An I gots dem E3 Diamond sparked plugs and sum dat torco gas stuff I'll race for a hunerd" And don't forget your bubba teeth!
The bottle was just in the trunk. In the main well. With a the trunk partition most people never asked for me to pop the trunk. I also ran a FJO controller mounted in the glove box. The progressive ramp never let people suspect nitrous.
Here are some more pics. BeerC5 is he master of switch panels. I had him do me this custom one, and have him working on a new one for my next setup.
Here is the FJO unit mounted in the glove box.
And finally the bottle which sits in the trunk under the covered well. BTW I have a remote opener as well so I never need to visit the bottle except for refills.
nice... well concealed, but in a money race (the only reason why I can see concealing the setup) I would personally look for a switch panel, or a bottle in the trunk. Well hidden though, there are also some threads on ls1tech about tips and tricks on how to hide nitrous systems.
I think I am going to a direct port setup. I am still trying to choose what I want to do.
As for the bottle location there are some better places to make some more moves for better hiding. For the money racing down here most people know what they are getting into.
As for the 200 dry it is not that dangerous. I have been running it for about a year now. I have 42 lb injectors and a racetronix fuel setup. The system works great once I had the nozzle placement dialed in.

Cool! ECS is getting my car first week in Sept
Staying w/ Nitrous, just upgrading level V tranny, small convertor, and ZO6 rear/hardened shaft, and a Tune. May go up to 150 Dry, same setup 42's Racetronixs pump and a BAP as well.
