I know when you have that much power (500+ HP) coming from a blowed LSX motor, gas milage doesnt realy matter. . .but im curious! So what kind or gas milage are you all getting out there with blowers.

I will see 22 city with very sprinted driving, 29-30 on the interstate @ 80 mph. This is calculated with gallons and miles. As my DIC will read around 24 City and 33 hwy.

Little P1 @5-6 PSI and 540 RWHP.

bone stock = 26 mpg fwy @ 75-80

s/c = 32 mpg fwy @ 75-80

s/c = 34.6 mpg fwy @ 65-70 (had to go slow, rear end was crying like I had just ran over a cat)

In town, 24-26 mpg

On the highway, 28 - 32 mpg @ 65-75 mph

These were figured by me dividing miles by gas usage, not by the DIC. Sometimes I've seen the DIC go into the high 40's when decelerating, so I did it manually to know for sure.

I've got an A&A Vortech SQ V2 S-trim and headers. My car is putting out 500-525 rwhp through a stalled A4 too, so to say that I'm Happy with it would be an understatement!

You will need 200+ lbs/hr injectors at 100% duty cycle, or a hole in you gas tank

3.42's. Although I do have built tranny, clutch and rear. Not that it would make any difference though.

A4 3.42 FLP Lvl 5 tranny with 722rwhp/664rwtq and the best I saw without ever stomping on it was 21mpg on the DIC and that was on a 150 mile trip. If I stomp on it though I have seen it as low as 14mpg.

Mines 15.8-16. Its not just your car. I am guessing they aren't posting their averages on the DIC. I drive kinda hard the times I do drive it so 15-16 is just fine for me.

the most accurate way to calculate gas mileage for your FI car is to reset your trip odo at your next fill up. then when it comes time to fill up again take the miles you've driven and divide them by the gallons you just purchased.

using the DIC is not accurate because almost all FI cars have larger injectors or their tabels are scaled differently and that will screw with the stock injector calculations our cars use.

doing the math above I see anywhere between 12-14mpg with a mix of city and highway driving. On the highway best I've seen is a little over 300 miles out of 16 gallons of gas which is about 18mpg. I've never been able to just cruise threw a tank of gas w/o getting into boost at all so I'd guess I could maybe get 20-21mph on the highway if I drove like a *****.

edit: I've got 96# injectors, stock 3.42 rear, stock sized tires & twin fuel pumps...
good thing I didn't buy this puppy for fuel economy!
