Default old style a&a bracket???

is this just the old style a&a bracket or am i missing something. seems like it would have another idler or something. i've searched the forum but i'm not having much luck. please don't flame...

Yeah man you have a different bracket than I do. One is older but I don't know which one. You're not MISSING anything. It just never was there. I'd also like to know which one is newer.

do you have any issues with belt slippage? what length of belt do you use? i put on a 88 7/8" belt and it seems to fit tight. i do have a problem with it tryin to walk on me a lil i gotta address that issue.

You have the same bracket as I do and this winter I am going 8 rib just not sure which way at the moment as I already have all the pulleys

is there anyway i can modify my bracket so i can mount a third idler on there. i tried with one of the headunit bolts but the pully wont clear. i suppose i could drill and tap some threads and just mount one above the grooved idler right???

With my P1 I had no issues at all. Now I'm 8 rib with a F1A and I'm still waiting on a few issue to resolve with fuel pump clearance. You might want to check your alignment of your pulleys and then go from there.

I talked to Andy at A&A about this and he said that the next bracket up from ours is a hole new bracket not just idler added. I was thinking the samething of adding a idler.

The one you have is the first Generation Bracket of the A&A!

Here is what I have the second Gen Bracket

I showed Andy the bracket... it's about 4 or 5 years ago... The one we have now is 100 times better...

Thats is what I heard but reclocking a F1A is very hard verse a P1 or D1. This is the only reason I have not bought one of your new brackets yet. But I'm sure one day I'll be buying one
