Default sleep bad for S/C?

Just about to fall off the fence on buying one of Andy's kits but have a question. I have, on regular occassions, to leave my car parked for 5-6 weeks at a time. Does this cause any problems with the internals of the S/C or it's components? 2004 A4 coupe

But unlike a wife, it will give you fresh wood when you return.
