When Im done my 02 Z06 will have a 402 LS2 forged stroker running 13 lbs of boost with an MN6 built trans in it for less aggressive gearing. Should be a min of 700 wheel horse.
Im considering aftermarket wheels as follows: 19x9.5 and 20x11. Tires are: 235/35/19 and 305/25/20
Ive always been against upsprung weight and these are Iforged Aeros which are pretty light but I still worry about going this route.
I do not race on tracks or run on quarter mile tracks...mainly just enjoy the power and if I have to put the smack down then so be it.
My question....will this be a horrible move?

Trust me at your power level you'll never notice the difference!

Yes, horrible move. Those big bling rims will severely limit your tire choices, and any tire you run will have a very thin sidewall, so traction will be non existent.
I really don't get the appeal of giant wheels?
Horrible move. If you must buy them, then I'll give you my address and you can just have them shipped to my house. This way you can satisfy your desire to purchase them without ruining your car.
Get another set of wheels to satisfy your traction issues. If they make Invo's in the size you need, I hear they hook up pretty well. Bonds in the C6 forum has them on his car and his car is no joke on powa!

I personally went with heavy wheels on the street to give me some traction, you wont notice anything at your power level either way, but I would go with an 18" rim and a drag radial IMO.
